Good morning everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving this past week! We had a few friends in town for the holiday and for the LSU/A&M game. It was such a great time, but I seriously thought that game would never end. 7 overtimes is a bit extreme for me, plus it was cold in the stadium. Charlie stayed with a sitter for the first time, and I honestly felt bad because that game ran so late, but they had a great time together.
I am currently compiling a list of my favorite and most needed items for baby which included our UPPAbaby CRUZ, and I wanted to tell you guys a little bit about it.
First things first, this thing saved me on Maternity leave. I am not the kind of person who can stay indoors without getting stir crazy. My little man and I walked several miles around the neighborhood every single day. Luckily we live in a super walkable area with a grocery store, coffee shop, homegoods and a few restaurants all within walking distance. So of course we took full advantage of our CRUZ and walked to all of the above.
I’ve gotten so many complements from friends and neighbors on the sleek design which is mostly what attracted me to the CRUZ, but after owning it for 2 months now, my favorite aspect is how easily it glides when strolling. I am able to walk both of my crazy wild dogs with one hand and control the CRUZ with the other with ease.
We have the bassinet in Loic attached now, and the design of it is perfect for the newborn stage. Charles often falls fast asleep on our walks, and I can leave him in the bassinet to nap once we arrive back at home which makes my life easier. Once he is a little bit older, we have the CRUZ seat attachment in Jordan and we can switch back to that seat in order for him to sit up and look around during our walks.
UPPAbaby has great accessories to add to whichever model you choose as well, and nearly everything works together. We currently have the bassinet, and the bug and rain shields which are a must in Texas. They also offer car seats and the CRUZ stroller is compatible with the MESA.
I’ve found the CRUZ to be great for portability and traveling as well. There is a large sized basket under to fit everything that Charles and I would need (up to 25lbs), and it’s so easily collapsible to store in the trunk or on flights. It can also stand when collapsed.
Moms, is there one product that you got for your little one that stood out above the rest? I’d love to include it in my list. Send me an email or let me know in the comments below. Mine was for sure our UPPAbaby CRUZ, but I’d love to hear your suggestions on other types of must-haves.
I’ll be compiling my full list of must have soon and can’t wait to try out all of your recommendations. In the meantime if you have a little one or are expecting, check out the CRUZ here.
