NYFW Day 3

September 25, 2016 · Leave a Comment

NYFW Day 3 was definitely one for the books.  I started off the day by grabbing coffee and taking a few photos in front of my hotel.  After that I headed to the subway to catch my first appointments of the day.

NYFW Day 3 – What I Wore

By day 3 I learned that comfort is key for making it around fashion week.  I wore this gorgeous navy bell sleeve romper and some booties that I knew I could walk a few miles in.  (you’ll never guess where I found these booties!)  And of course I carried a huge bag that could fit all of the necessities (i.e. my camera, laptop, and a pair of sneakers just incase).

My first stop was to the Louis Verdad presentation.  His showroom was incredible.  I was obsessed with this white trench and basically everything else there.  His line was upscale denim, and everything was so impeccably designed.  I got to meet Mr. Verdad himself, and I even met a fellow blogger pal, Dannon, who I hopped show to show with for the rest of the day!

After champagne at the Verdad presentation, I headed down to catch a few shows including Leanne Marshall’s SS17 show.  It was filled with beautiful feminine pastels that moved perfectly down the runway.  This sheer periwinkle finale dress was my absolute favorite.

Anniesia Hasibuan’s show was pretty amazing too.  It was unlike anything I had ever seen before.  Here’s my favorite look from the runway.  It was such a show stopper!

Later that evening, I headed to the Liketoknow.it x Milk Makeup party.  There were so many remarkable women that I’ve looked up to for years all in one room.  It was the highlight of my nyfw experience to get to meet so many bloggers that I’ve followed since the beginning of my blogging career.
