I started off day 2 of NYFW with a lovely run through Central Park. It actually started as a run and quickly ended up as a leisurely walk. I’ve never been to New York when the weather is nice and the park isn’t completely frozen, and there were just so many beautiful things to stop and take pictures of.
After finding my way out of the park, I headed back to the Empire, got dressed and headed to Columbus Circle to catch the subway to my first show.
NYFW Day 2 – What I Wore
On Day 2 I wore a cotton black midi dress with sneakers and topped it off with a leather jacket and my parker satchel. This dress is so soft and comfy and it has been on repeat since I returned home. I actually wore it out last Friday night!

When I made it to the venue, I met up with Tim from Fohr Card. He was filming me to document my first fashion week experience!!! Unfortunately, the video is not out yet, but when it is released I’ll be sure to post a link for you guys.
The first show we attended was CAAFD’s Impossible Collective Showcase. The designers presenting were Ponyo Porco, Jessica Vann and Laison.
Next, I had lunch and recharged at the Cafeteria Restaurant. If you’re ever in the area, this was such a cool little place. I sat on the patio and people watched as I charged up my phone for the night’s shows. Everything was so neat… even the bathrooms were strangely cool.
After Lunch, I went to the Carmen Marc Valvo show. His designs were breathtaking and I loved his neutral color scheme with just a few pops of red.
Next I watched the Rosenthal Tee show and headed back up to Coumbus Circle to meet up with my husband for dinner.
Come back Sunday to see Day 3.
