Christmas Lights, Exact Reindeer Sweater, Leather Pants, Target Leopard Shoes, Over the Knee Boots, Henri Bendel Jetsetter Backpack, House of Harlow Sunglasses
Hi everyone,
I hope you are all having a great weekend!
Since ugly christmas sweater parties are upon us, I thought I would do a tutorial on how to make your own. I’ve noticed that many of the ugly sweaters out there are a bit expensive. Since you’ll probably only wear it once, I am going to show you how to make one for super cheap! YAY!
1) I picked up the supplies from my local Walmart and got everything for under $30. You can pick out any sweater you like, just make sure that it is knitted to allow you to poke the lights through.
2) Once you’ve gotten all of your supplies, put the batteries in the lights just to be sure that they work. (Mine required a small screw driver for the battery pack.)
3) Begin stringing the lights and poking them through the sweater in random spots. The lights should have small clips on the sides of each bulb to hold them in place. Make sure to start at the top of the sweater and work your way down. You want the battery pack to be close to your pocket. I keep mine in my back pocket when wearing this sweater.
Enjoy your cool, new, light up sweater!
