It happens every time we travel. I wait until the night before to pack, and I’m scrambling trying to make sure I have everything that I need before leaving the house. By the time I make it to the airport or even worse, mid-flight, I usually realize that I’ve forgotten something that I needed.
So in hopes of helping you guys with this and perhaps even helping myself by making a list for future trips. Here are
10 must-haves for your next flight
Comfy Clothes: First and foremost, when traveling you want to be comfortable. I always wear leggings or joggers with a light jacket. Because it’s usually freezing in the airport.
Slip On Shoes: I also try to wear easily removable shoes like loafers or slides for ease with the security line.
A Laptop: I always bring my laptop to get work done either in the airport or on flights. I like answering all of my emails and sometimes editing photos on flights because it really makes the flight go by faster. Plus when I get to my destination, I lock it in the safe and forget about it.
A Portable Phone Charger: Watching TV and playing on wifi on the plane is entertaining, but it also drains the battery. A portable charger is ideal for being able to charge without having to stand by an outlet when you obviously have better things to do.
Earbuds: If you plan to watch TV on the plane you’ll be needing these! I prefer to use the apple ones normally, but I always have a set of bluetooth ones in my purse because with the iPhone 7 the headphone and charger are the same connection. So you can’t do both at the same time.
A Magazine: or any reading material. I rarely ever buy magazines, but for some reason, in the airport I just have to have them.
A Small Pillow: I find it really difficult to sleep on flights. There is just too much going on around me, but if you like to nap to pass the time, you’ll want one of those little neck pillows.
Snacks: Because those little bags of peanuts and pretzels are just not going to cut it.
Makeup: This one is just a personal preference, but I’m always terrified that my bag will get lost. So I carry my makeup in my carry-on to ensure that I’m not stuck in another city without my face. I can buy an outfit or two to make it through vacay, but a whole makeup bag would be difficult to replace.
And most importantly an ID or Passport
